About This Notice

This Cookie & Storage Notice explains how Valutten (operated by Meister Athlete Pty Ltd) uses cookies and browser storage technologies on our marketing website (valutten.com) and commission management platform (app.valutten.com). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Australia does not require cookie consent banners under current law. We provide one anyway, because we believe you should know what is stored in your browser and be able to opt out of non-essential tracking.

1. Essential Storage

These items are required for the application to function and cannot be disabled. They are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to third parties.

2. Analytics (Consent-Gated)

We use PostHog (EU-hosted at eu.posthog.com) for product analytics. These items are only set after you grant analytics consent — either via the consent banner or through Settings > Privacy & Consent.

What PostHog Collects

Page views and navigation patterns

What PostHog Does NOT Collect

Session recordings — permanently disabled
Console logs — permanently disabled
Form input values — masked by default
Financial data — commission values masked via the data-ph-mask attribute

PostHog data is routed through our own servers (reverse proxy) and stored in the EU region. See our Privacy Policy Section 8 for full details.

3. Third-Party Advertising

Valutten does not use any third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting technologies. We do not participate in ad networks, sell data to advertisers, or share user data with marketing platforms.

4. AI Feature Processing

Valutten offers AI-powered insights using Anthropic's Claude models. When enabled:

Queries are sent to Anthropic's API for natural language processing
Personal identifiers (broker names, lender names) are tokenised before transmission
No commission data is used to train AI models
You can disable AI features in Settings > Privacy & Consent

5. Managing Your Preferences

Consent banner: Appears on first visit — click Accept or Decline
Settings page: Go to Settings > Privacy & Consent to toggle analytics and AI features
Browser settings: You can clear localStorage or cookies at any time via your browser to reset all preferences
Do Not Track: We respect your browser's DNT signal — if active, no analytics events are collected
